Aw man

Funny stuff, I was really hoping the gags kept going after the whole gymnastics routine, I think you could've pulled off some more outrageous stunts without it getting a little too over the top. Nice movie for 2 days work!

[Monster's Dream]

Am I missing something?

I thought this was well made and nicely arranged, but (not to come off as a dick) I seriously don't think this is deserving of it's score. Yeah it was a nice little movie but I really don't think it deserves to be in one of the top spots OF ALL TIME. However, if you continued the dream sequence and extended the entire movie about another 2 minutes, then I could see where people were getting excited. As it stands now, it feels sort of like "....that's it?".

Don't get me wrong I think the visuals were well executed, and the shot of moon felt very dream-like and imaginative, I guess I was just expecting more with all the hubbub surrounding it.

no, that is a perfectly valid opinion so you aren't coming off as a dick. it is quite short, and thats the main issue in terms of feedback i've gotten from people. So the next one will be longer and hopefully the hubbub will be accurate :D

So different

Nice job man, your characters feel so alive. So crisply animated, it just looks so unique I can't even describe it. Here's hoping you start just making stuff and not just making it for art class.

I'm glad you submitted it even if it's not finished - the art and everything looks great but I could definitely tell you ran out of steam in the later half. At least it started out great enough, I'll give you the 10 for the effort you put into it and also for completely understanding where you're coming from about the whole laziness thing. Hope I see more of your amazing digital paintings, you're most recent one is incredible. Later.

Haha, didn't know what to expect when it started and the puppets just made it that much more awesome/funny. It's cool to see the different stuff people do and I liked how different this one was. Puppets for life.

[Valentine '29]

Great effort on everyone's part

The mix of styles went surprisingly smooth together and everything came out looking crisp and clean. I really liked the fact that the story held everything together and that the different views artists brought to the table was sort of a secondary thing.

My favorite part was "The Escape" by Christian, I loved the stylized people and the way they behaved - they were really convincing as people in the way you animated them to fit their dialogue. Well done.

And well done on the collaberation as a whole, it really came out looking nice.

[The Con]

Nicely done.

You communicate the story very well albeit through the use of bathroom-esque door sign people (reason I docked you points for graphics), other than that, the line art world these people live in was nice and I liked the use of pop up images to suggest what people are saying/thinking.

The story was the best part about this, but unfortunately some bits were made a bit less attractive because there were some gaps without sound which made it seem a little disjointed.

Overall nice job, bitches ain't shit - I genuinely laughed at that part. nice.

[Portal of the Damned]

Great for what it was -

Excellent idea that was nicely translated into an animation. Great work on your part and from the guest artists, the whole thing ran a tad short though but I can definetely understand your time restraints. Um, I would've liked to see different adventures from each of the character (like Darnell and Nene would go to a dimension like Pico's Madness one) and then they all end up back in the Tankmen world, that would've been cool but, obviously, would've taken a lot more time on your part and other artists' too. But for me it's all the little extra (unnecessary but necessary type) shit that you do that I end up loving in the end, for this one it's Nene's little finger thing she does when the portal first opens up. Maybe this is a series? And if not, it's awesome for what it was.

[The Experiment]

I'm also dissapointed with the low score this has-

Deserves a lot more recognition but I also think what brought it down was the lack of preloader/opening presentation which people expect to see and associate with quality animations. I guess they failed to see the great fbf work that was inside, but the music choice also kind of didn't match up with what was going on in the movie, the music was too serious. If this was just an expirement, I can't wait to see what a full movie from you looks like.
